What a fantastic idea! I was a caretaker at a facility that had a troublesome walk-in cooler that failed frequently before big events. I think the heat of the newly introduced food stock would overtax the cooling system. Needless to say it was always a stressful occurance.

The picture of the green and clear bottles on your page header sparked and idea for me. Could you add a small solar panel and led to light the room; and maybe put it inside the bottle stack to create a type of fresnel lens utilizing the shape of the bottom of the bottles?

I hope you have great success with your project!
